A romantic bedroom can be the key to a successful relationship. So indulge and follow my ten useful tips. Visit this site for more info
1. Get rid of all the clutter. It is distracting if there is mess in a relaxing space.
2. Add mirrors as they create the illusion of space. You could use as many as you like, they can be any size, but do not go overboard. Keep it simple.
3. When deciding the theme of your room, keep the feel comfortable and inviting. Gradually add details and features and you will soon work out what looks best.
4. Buy good quality bed sheets. It really does matter what kind you buy, and the better you buy the longer they will last.
5. Invest in the perfect bed; make sure it is not too large for the room. The bed is the focus of any bedroom so make it as cosy and welcoming as possible. Some styles that you might want to consider include Platform, Canopy, Victorian, or Sleigh bed.
6. Accessorise your room well by adding small details of furniture and novelties. For example a nightstand, a lamp and romantic picture frame will look sophisticated and classy.
7. Cover your bed with an assortment of pillows and cushions. Go for all shapes and sizes and keep the colours within your colour scheme.
8. Scented candles are ideal to help you feel romantic and calm. Place them in strategic places round the room and light at night. (Remember to blow them out before you sleep, and do not leave unattended.)
9. Lighting should be soft and filtered; bright lights can detract from the romantic atmosphere. Try 40 watt bulbs, these should be bright enough.
10. Keep your favourite love CDs close by. Soft love music is one of the easiest ways to elevate your mood. Ideally keep other distractions such as the television in another room.
