A lot of people tend to let their garden grow out of control, and it is only when important guests are due at the house that the garden sees any attention! It is a shame because it can be such a lovely feature of any house, and it is something that is really worth making nice.
Get your garden back to what it once was, by first of all clearing. You need to be ruthless, and cut back whatever you can. Make a bonfire to burn off whatever is going, but be sure to find out the appropriate times for making bonfires according to your local council, and make sure that the fire is safely monitored at all times. Doing this will really allow you to clear space to allow light into the garden and will help you to create space for whatever you are going to fill your garden with.
A good starting place is lots of potted plants. You will be able to plant some of these when they outgrow their pots, but in the mean time they will provide instant appeal. Now that you have some space in the garden, you should consider buying some garden furniture so that you will be able to entertain guests in your garden, as well as allowing your family to enjoy the outside space you have criminally been under deploying!
If you are unsure where to find really good quality garden furniture then visit very.co.uk to find some great furniture at good prices. This outfit have a wonderful selection of furniture and you will be able to find something classical and elegant at a fraction of the price of most other retailers.
Once this is all in place you should end up with a tidy, light and pleasant environment to be in, and regular maintenance will keep it this way!
